Traditional Pocket Sprung Mattresses

Traditionally the most luxurious in feel offering targeted body support and comfort.  Thousands of individual pocketed springs are linked together, but move individually, separately adjusting to your body shape and weight, while minimising 'roll-together'.

Genuine Hand Side Stitching

Performed by highly skilled craftsmen, this is a feature of high quality mattresses.  Twine is used to attach the border to the outer springs, resulting in firmer and stronger edges that give more support & longevity to the mattress edge.

'Air Pocket' Sprung Mattresses (Binary)

A revolutionary mattress design combines air-pockets between alternate pocket springs. Resulting in a more supple mattress that offers extreme comfort & support, while minimising 'roll-together' for large differences in body weights.

Bespoke & Organic Mattresses

Most mattress models can be produced to any size & shape.  Non-standard sizes are quoted on request.

Burgess also offer an organic collection, with certified organic components, free from the use of chemical treatments and pesticides in farming and manufacture.

Zipped Mattresses

Burgess mattresses can be made in two halves & 'zipped' together.  Suited for those customers who wish to combine 2 different models or tensions, where handling and turning the mattress may be an issue, or where access to the bedroom is tight.
